NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Medior Android Developer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Android applications for healthcare data needs.
• Explore, implement, and validate new ideas before full deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code.
• Optimize application performance, security, and usability.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile and healthcare tech.

What we expect from you:

• Strong expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Dagger, and Coroutines.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining complex Android applications, integrating third-party libraries, and designing efficient REST API interactions.
• Solid understanding of Git, OOP, SOLID principles, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and design patterns.
• Analytical mindset and ability to improve code structure.
• English level B2+.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Health Connect API and Wear OS.
• Familiarity with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
• Experience with Machine Learning and AI in Android development.
• Expertise in both Unit and UI Testing.
• Awareness of OWASP MAS.
• Experience in cross-platform development, such as React Native or Flutter.
