NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Senior Full Stack JS Developer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and secure web applications across various domain areas.
• Conduct technical audits to assess system quality, security, and scalability.
• Lead a development team, guiding engineers and ensuring project success.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards, security, and performance.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participation in project evaluation and application of methodologies to solve various tasks.

What we expect from you:

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack development using Node.js and React.
• Experience in leading a team, mentoring developers, and driving technical decisions.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) at B2 level or higher.
• Deep understanding of basic and advanced JavaScript concepts.
• Proficiency in working with databases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms, especially AWS Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies
• Experience working in a team using Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge and experience working with projects at different stages of development.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with LLM APIs and LLM agents.
